I'm Fatima:
Copywriter first. Creative always.
Since putting Cotton Candy Art-skills in my resume wasn't very "professional", here's a whole page dedicated
to my lore. But if you're looking for that "to whom it may concern" side of me, click on the button below.
About Me
I’m a Copywriter who also understands the power of social media. I specialize in strategic communication and creative storytelling that connects brands to their audiences. In a nutshell, *I help you say more with less*— because let’s be real, people don’t pay attention to ads. Whether written or in short-clip form, my job is to make authentic content so people notice your brand and engage with it.

Skills
I’m a creative Swiss Army knife — sharp with words and with a few extra tools up my sleeve:
Copywriting (short and long form)
Content Creation
Photography & Edition
Strategy
Creative Cloud (basic proficiency)

Background
I started college in Guadalajara Mex. (I am a Native in Spanish if you were wondering). Life happened...actually, a worldwide Pandemic happened, and I moved back to Texas with my parents to continue my education remotely. Online college wasn’t fun, but then, in 2021, I got into the University of Texas at Austin. I went through a diverse creative journey throughout my Longhorn years (think ice cream photographer to ballerina), until I discovered I enjoy writing juicy taglines and clever headlines more than I do choosing a font in Photoshop.
I’ll have to credit one of my old managers for part of this discovery since he questioned me for quoting myself and using Comic Sans on my portfolio — I took that as a sign. Luckily, that was an old portfolio, unfortunately, I fear I still quote myself sometimes. But hey, that's why I'm here, to squeeze some brain juice in all shapes and forms!
What my resume doesn't tell you...
I'm great at:
•Staying curious: I'm always asking myself the what if's and why's, before moving on to the how.
Remembering my dreams: I keep a notebook near my bed to write down the craziest ones.
•DIY-ing: I've made an angler fish-shaped coin bank with Paper Mache, so yeah, I know a thing or two about crafts.

I suck at:
•Deciding: I think ideas never stop evolving, you just have a deadline to meet.
•Saying no: Sometimes I overestimate my capacity to multitask on 5hrs. of sleep.
•Saving money: I like to scroll on plane tickets for fun, and that's not a very budget-friendly habit.

Personal Goals:

• Create a board game
• Write a corny novel
• Adopt and raise a pet deer
