I'm Fatima:
Copywriter first. Creative always.
Since putting cotton candy artist in my resume wasn't very "professional", here's a whole page dedicated
to my lore. But if you're looking for that "to whom it may concern" side of me, click on the button below.
About Me
I’m a Bilingual Copywriter who also loves social media. I specialize in strategic communication and creative storytelling that connects brands to their audiences —I help you say more with less. Whether written or in short-clip form, my job is to create engaging content that reflects your brand's voice authentically.
On my 9-to-5s, I create customer-facing content and editorial copy for big brands and retailers (P&G and Walmart, to name a few). And on my 5-to-9s, I freelance as a content creator for local businesses and events.
It's my favorite way to blend my passion for storytelling and editing!

Bonus Skills
Just a few extra tools I've unlocked over time:

•Creative direction & execution
Cross-functional collaboration

Background
I kicked off my Ad degree back in my hometown, Guadalajara, Mexico, then moved to Texas in 2018 and transferred to UT Austin, —where my artsy side went on a wild, creative ride. From fashion mags and ice cream photography to TED Talks and Portfolio class, I eventually realized: I love writing juicy taglines and clever headlines more than scrolling through fonts. Though I’ll happily trade my pen for a paintbrush when needed, my creative skills are pretty chameleonic—and so am I.

I guess I live by the motto “bloom wherever you’re planted”—and if I could bloom in Texan soil, best believe I’ll do it wherever life puts me!
What my resume doesn't tell you...

I Suck at
Deciding: I think ideas never stop evolving—you just have a deadline.
Saying no: I overestimate my ability to multitask on 5 hours of sleep.
Saving money: I suffer from severe UTS (Unnecessary Trinket Shopping).

I’m Great at:
Staying curious: I always ask myself the why before crafting the how.
• Remembering my dreams: I like to write down the craziest ones.
DIY-ing: Yes, I made the brain I'm squeezing. And my juice.

Personal Goals
• Create a board game
• Have a secret room
• Adopt and raise a pet deer
